Wheeler River Project

Our Why

As the new season approaches, we would like to bring you news on our upcoming project. As discussed with several clients over the last few years, we’ve always talked of expanding our territory into areas of our license never before utilized.

We are calling this our Wheeler River Project.

With the use of both boats and our hovercraft, we will be exploring further up and down river and looking for possible sites to build other small outpost cabins similar to the one pictured here. Also, back at our main camp, we have completely gutted and renovated the guides’ quarters to accommodate more help for these projects. Since our license entails all of zone 75 for hunting, both bear and moose, we will be looking for more remote areas, probably west and north of Russell Lake, to set up seasonal camps.

This will allow us to greatly expand our reach into areas that we have only dreamt of accessing. This in turn will allow greater numbers of clients to be accommodated, especially for bear hunting as well as finding accessible moose hunt areas that have not been affected by recent forest fires.

As always, our focus will be on providing an exceptional experience for our guests, whether it be fishing and hunting at the main camp area or exploring new hunting opportunities further afield.
